By the pricking of our thumbs, something wicked this way comes ... it must be our April SLINGS & ARROWS event, featuring soldiers, knights, cross-dressing, hangings, paintball and zombie porn - all in the very best Shakespearean tradition (it's the Bard's 450th birthday this month doncherknow ...) Pull out your quill and note it in your diary for TUESDAY 8TH APRIL - The Guardian named Liars' League as one of the UK's Great Storytelling Nights only last week, so be there or be a cross-garter'd gull.
In addition to these delights, there will also be the usual infamous literary quiz at which you can win FREE BOOKS to improve your mind even more than will the winning stories listed below (except the zombie porn one, that'll just eat your brain). As usual, doors open at 7pm, stories start at 7.30, and tickets are £5 on the door - address below.

Are you an artist or illustrator? Do you like free booze? Then submit a jpg large enough to be printed as an A3 poster for one of our forthcoming monthly themes, by the end of the preceding month (i.e. by 31 Mar for April's Slings & Arrows theme) and you could be our Artist of the Month!
