In addition to our regular Weird & Wonderful event on Tuesday 10 June, we also reprised the winning stories (plus two new ones) on Tuesday 17 June at the Peckham Pelican, 92 Peckham Road, London, SE15 5PY as part of the brand new South London-based Literary Kitchen Festival. The nearest Overground station to the venue is Peckham Rye - it's about a seven minute walk. Map here.
We have six slices of solid-gold strangeness for you, featuring tree gods, disappearing dogs, suburban centaurs, psychopathic doppelgangers, aural stalkers and a cynical mermaid.
Doors open a little earlier than usual at 6.30pm, we kick off at 7pm and it's £5 on the door as normal. Rumour has it that BBC Radio 4's Open Book programme will be there to record, and it will also be followed at 9pm by Literary Ping-Pong. We have no idea what that involves (apart from a ping-pong table) but it sounds fun ...
