Drum roll please ...
LL London is now accepting submissions for our March show, which is on the theme of Boom & Bust, with a deadline of Sunday 1 February 2015. We are super delighted to announce that if you submit a story and it's chosen by producers Heavy Entertainment as the winner, your story will be recorded for broadcast on BBC Radio 4 later in 2015, in their Short Readings slot. You will be paid and you will also reach literally millions of listeners. This is huge, people. Start writing now.
This is part of a three-way project involving Liars' Leagues in Asia, America and Europe. Our sister organisation Liars' League Hong Kong have already recorded their story and Liars' League NYC is currently seeking submissions (from American writers only) for their February event, Entrances & Exits. It's really great and we're very excited about it.
IMPORTANT: The story in question must be around 2500 words long (plus or minus 10% maximum), set in London, and relevant to the theme of Boom & Bust. Please note that ONLY British writers resident in the UK will be eligible to have their story broadcast. As usual anyone can enter a story to be read on the night, but the broadcast slot is reserved for native authors. Therefore please state your nationality & country of residence in your email when you submit. Stories will still be judged anonymously.
The deadline for Boom & Bust is 11.59pm on Sunday 1st February and submissions should be sent to [email protected]. All regular submissions guidelines are here.
We look forward to reading all your stories, and have a great 2015!
