Liars' League goes to Leeds! Submit for North & South by 30 June

At last the League's plans for world domination are coming to fruition, and we're starting with Leeds!

Our northern cousin will have all the usual LL treats - a great venue, drinks deals, a cast of compelling actors and the famous half-time literary book quiz - plus a whole new audience for your dazzling and breathtakingly original short stories!

Liars' League Leeds will launch in early July, kicking off with North & South - so we're after stories of 800 to 2000 words on whatever that theme conjures for you. Flat caps versus jellied eels? Carpetbagging yankees and Atlanta belles? Vietnam and Korea? Shackleton and Scott? The North Star and the Southern Cross? Get your stories to us at [email protected] by June 30.

    We got nominated, we canvassed, we voted, we hoped, we prayed. Then we went down to Oxford - along with our publishing partners Arachne Press - for the Saboteur Awards and came away with a gong each! We won Best Regular Spoken Word Night 2014 and Weird Lies won Best Anthology.
